Anne Frank (1929-1945) Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl (1952) entry for July 15,1944
The family is given great importance as it should form the basis of both the individual's spiritual development and happiness, and society's cohesion and advancement. It constitutes "as the bedrock of the whole structure of human society" Attitudes and relationships developed in the family, when transformed to ever-wider circles of the community, can have a direct bearing on the order, peace, and wealth of an entire nation.
A pattern of harmony in family life requires conscious attention to teach and develop spiritual qualities among its members. Of note are these qualities: truthfulness and trusworthiness, a sense of justice, moderation, respect for others, good manners, obedience, self-discipline, and kindness .
We are a spiritual species going through a temporary experience as a human being.
