Mahasti -[1946-2007]
The younger sister of another Iranian female singer, Hayedeh. Mahasti's voice was discovered by Parviz Yahaghi, the famous Iranian composer and violinist. She was one of the rare signers who "started" her work on the Tehran Radio program Gol-ha-ye Rangarang, in 1963 with the song "Ankeh Delam Raa Bordeh Khodaya", composed by Yahaghi and with lyrics from Bijan Taraghi.
A part of her music named, when I was gone: when i was gone, it wasn't rainy at all but very sunny if i would have been going at night, no doubt that it would be pretty moony.
